ryan Casey
Capt. Ryan runs Show Me Catfishing Trophy Guide Service out of St. Louis, Missouri. A multiple tournament winner, Ryan has been featured on ten national TV shows for his catfish-wrangling expertise. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in conservation and wildlife management and is ready to take you out on the mighty Mississippi for a monster cat. Show Me Catfishing is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and insured for your protection.

jason jackson
Jason has been fishing since he could walk. His fishing adventures span the farm ponds around his parents’ house to some of the biggest rivers in the United States. Jason has been blessed to have one of the best catfish fisheries in the United States right in his backyard. Thanks to his bachelor’s degree in biology and his years of education on the water, Jason has a deep knowledge of the river and the species that call it home.
Robert Stelmach
Robert’s goal is to introduce as many people as he can to the great sport of catfishing in a safe, affordable way. As a father of four, he enjoys taking young people out on the water for fun fishing adventures. That’s why children 15 and under fish free! Robert owns and operates Gateway Blues Catfishing Guide Service, a U.S. Coast Guard licensed and fully insured guide service in St. Louis.

aj nichols
AJ is based in Collinsville, Illinois. He enjoys pulling in big catfish and hanging out with his favorite fishing buddy, three-year-old son Nash. He is currently working on earning his U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license. He is an avid catfish angler and won first place in the Catfish on the Confluence tournament. AJ caught a 53-lb catfish in the Mississippi River, and he can’t wait to be there when you catch yours.

adam petrich
Adam is based in Edwardsville, Illinois. His favorite hobbies include fishing for crappie and hunting deer, coyote and just about anything, including giant catfish! Adam is currently enrolled in the U.S. Coast Guard certification course. and his goal is to be a full-time fishing and hunting guide. His enthusiasm for the sport is contagious, and he is ready to help you have a great day on the water.

Choose a guide based on what you’re interested in fishing for. Next, check our calendar to make sure the guide you want is available for the date of your trip.
Gearing up & heading out
No equipment? No problem. Simply show up at Bluff City Outdoors, and your guide will make sure you’re outfitted with all the right gear before you hit the water. You can even buy a fishing license at the shop. Just bring your state ID or driver’s license.
Payment & cancellation
A deposit will be required to secure guide appointment. Deposits and remaining payment will vary depending on the guide. The deposit is non-refundable, but can be used to move to another day if cancellation is necessary due to weather and river conditions.
