Who we are
Shop owner Mark McMurry is a true outdoorsman. He grew up fishing the river in St. Louis, and he trapped and sold furs to pay his way through college. Mark met his wife, Felecia, when she walked into the store. He knew right away that she was a great catch! Today, Mark, Felecia and their daughter, Whitney, run the shop. Friend and fellow fishing expert Butch Emery also helps manage the shop.

Mark purchased Rodney’s Bait and Tackle shop in 2003 and turned it into Bluff City Outdoors. He loves managing the shop and sharing stories with other outdoor enthusiasts. Most days you’ll find his daughter, Whitney, in the shop. When she isn’t helping customers find the right tackle, she’s outdoors reeling in crappie after crappie. Stop by, say hi and gear up for a fun, thrilling day on the water.
